TRIP PLANNING

YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE...

Oliver is located on Highway 97, a major north-south transportation link that runs from California to Alaska. The city lies 21 km / 13 mi north of the US border crossing at Osoyoos, which is also the junction with Highway 3. This is a common route East to Calgary and West to Vancouver.

Oliver is accessible by car, air and bus travel. If you are traveling in the winter, please keep in mind that while Oliver is compact and easily walkable, many outdoor recreational activities are located beyond town and require car travel. Winter tires or chains are strongly recommended on mountain roads from October through April. Please refer to our “Getting Here” page for more details.
